History
Manahath Educational Center was founded in 1957 by the late Dr. William Wallace Breckbill, beloved pastor and founder of the Evangelical Methodist Conference. Dr. Breckbill established the Manahath Educational Center to provide Biblical and Theological Education to those who would become the Pastors, Teachers, and Missionaries in Evangelical Methodist Churches, Sunday Schools, and Christian Day Schools.
The first location was Williamsburg, Pennsylvania. As the school grew it moved to Altoona, Pennsylvania and later in 1966, the campus moved to Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. Seeking a central U.S. location, it relocated in 1996 to Virginia. Graduates are serving in Evangelical Methodist Churches, Independent Fundamental Churches, and other denominations throughout the USA, as well as the Foreign Mission field, and in Christian Schools and Christian Camps.
